Today Hillside students had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful assembly put on by the Liberty Science Center.  The “Science Circus” explored the positives and negatives of static electricity, the subzero temperatures of liquid nitrogen, the states of matter, and the immense pressure of air.  They did more than a dozen thrilling experiments (with many volunteers from the audience), with the crowd favorite being the making of a “real cloud.” The children seemed to really enjoy the show, all the while learning concepts of energy and matter.  Isn’t science fun!
