Band/Chorus/GT: 7:35 a.m.—8:15 a.m.
Early Dismissal Day/Early Closing: 12:15 p.m.
Delayed Opening: 10:05 a.m.

 

If Your Child will be Absent/Tardy

 

CALL FOR SAFETY is the district system for parents/guardians to use to call in a student who will be absent or tardy.  This automated system is available outside the school day hours.  You must call the number (973) 535-8000, # 7104 and leave the following information:

-student name
-classroom teacher
-day or days of absence
-day student will be tardy

If you want to email to your child’s teacher, please leave a message on the Call For Safety line and email.  Please call by 8:30am. After 8:30am, call the office at extension x8151.

Call for Safety is for the safety of your children and it is extremely important that you make this call if your child will be absent or tardy. If a call is not received following daily attendance, the school office will utilize the information in the student database system to attempt to verify the whereabouts of the student. The Superintendent’s office will be notified if a family cannot be reached.
